A major redesign of the website was completed in fall of 2005. The purpose was to lend greater emphasis to the logo and color scheme and streamline the navigation.
In 2006 nearly all of the javascript and html markup were removed to bring the site closer to CSS standards compliance. This is a fancy way of saying there is less gobblety-goop in the code, and the pages should load faster.
2007 saw the addition of PayPal donate buttons and links to the revenue-sharing site, Good Search.
So far in 2008 a major revision of much of the text content and sponsorship levels has taken place. We've also added a music video, the REINS Wear mechandise page, started an eBay store, and posted additional files which help further explain the benefits of therapeutic riding.
Future years should see increased functionality brought to the site - online purchases of tickets and merchandise are at the top of that list. Ultimately a content management system will be implemented, so that REINS staff can update the site more regularly.
